Manager Real Estate (>5 years of work experience)

Woldring Verhuur is a developing real estate investor and a large, regional landlord operating in the City of Groningen and fully manages an extensive in-house real estate portfolio.
With nearly 650 apartments, studios, houses and multiple retail properties spread throughout the downtown area and decades of experience in residential space rental, we guarantee the safety of our tenants as well as their living comfort and quality. In November 2019, the beautiful new residential complex "the Woldring Location" with 435 apartments, gym and four commercial spaces, was inaugurated.

We are looking for a Real Estate Manager with >5 years of relevant work experience in the near future.

The focus for the coming years will be on further streamlining business processes, optimizing leasing and developing new construction to increase our real estate portfolio.

The Real Estate Manager falls directly under the Managing Director and leads a team of professionals in the field of maintaining and making our real estate more sustainable. Our departments consist of: administration, real estate management, engineering, service and maintenance. This enthusiastic core team consists of over 20 employees.

The Woldring Verhuur Property Manager manages processes, gives direction, connects, delegates, coaches, provides frameworks, involves and guides, and serves as an example. He also brings energy and inspiration to the organization. He can switch easily between strategy and execution, between content and process. In addition, he visibly shapes the development of employees. HRM tasks are the responsibility of the Property Manager.

You have at least a Demonstrable HBO work and thinking level, preferably through training in the field of real estate or facility managementYou have experience with policy and strategy developmentYou have a broad knowledge of and experience with the real estate world, preferably with regard to (residential) rentals. You are aware of social and industry developments.

You switch between strategic and operational issues with ease. You have an affinity with the commercial and social objective of Woldring Verhuur and are driven to make the team perform with pleasure.

Property Manager

Are you interested in contributing to the ins and outs of a dynamic company as a Letting Agent/Property Manager? Are you not looking for a boring "watch the store" role, but are also not afraid to roll up your sleeves? Then read on quickly!

To strengthen our team we are looking for a Property Manager (M/F) for 20 - 40 hours per week. In this role you are the contact person and sparring partner for your tenants. You have intensive contact with all colleagues and all tenants and operate on an operational, tactical and strategic level.

Main tasks:

You are involved in a wide range of typical rental matters such as maintaining our website, tenant administration, both checks and show of living spaces, minor repairs, you inform the financial administration, consults with the housekeeping and technical service. In our dynamic environment you know the right way quickly. You work effectively and strive for the best result both for tenant and landlord.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a demonstrable HBO work and thinking level;

Technical Service

Main tasks:

  • Take care of the all-round refurbishment of our living quarters
  • Resolve technical defects as quickly as possible for our tenants

Who are we looking for?

  • You have experience in construction in the broad sense of the word.

Can you work independently as well as in a team? Do you keep everything spotlessly clean? Would you like to work at different locations in Groningen as housekeeping assistant m/f? Then you might be our new housekeeping assistant!

Main tasks:

  • Taking care of clean and hygienic general areas of our rental complexes.
  • Taking care of clean and hygienic fitness- and sauna rooms.
  • Checking accommodations for possible malpractice
  • Communicating possible abuses with the caretaker

Who are we looking for?

  • You have experience as a domestic worker / star.
  • You live in the city or nearby.
  • You are also willing to clean at various locations in Groningen.
  • You like to work hard because the location you maintain, is just yours!
  • You are quick to spot wrongs and recognise shortcomings.
  • Good communication with us about this is required.
  • You can work completely independently.
  • You have a telephone (compensation for this will be arranged)
